because they live in illegal housing and get paid tax free. They can live of these wages logistically. An employer can't pay a citizen below minumum wage because he can run into legal trouble. American's aren't greedy or lazy. He won't run into legal trouble for hiring illegals....in fact he will probably be called a racist if he doesn't..in some circumstances...especially in the resturaunt buisness. The illegal workers are substandard because of thier lack of education and skills...they have none! Not to mention the language barrier. They get hired for economic reasons..that's it. American citizens are of better quality. Illegal Aliens are NOT better workers. That is absurd. They get more of these labor type jobs and they think that it is because they are better..They are decaying the American blue collar work force

51 ain't bad is correct. Illegals make a lot more than people realize. And it is well within living wages. On average, we are talking over $10.00 per hour! And with numerous folk living together, they have a lot to send back to their families.

This (extra money) means more of them can find their way up here illegally, work and send more home. The process won't stop!

It is politics at work here, folks!

I do not have a problem with people from other countrys coming to the USA. Become a citizen leagally and enjoy all that this great country has to offer. I honestly believe everyone in the USA agrees with this.

That's exactly right. Illegals are building homes all over Tulsa and I am sure that is true elsewhere in this country.

So not only do American Citizens not want to pick crops....we also don't want to be brick-layers, dry-wallers, framers, or carpenters.

Of course the argument will always be that food and housing costs will only rise if people earn a fair wage.

I guess I'm willing to pay the difference.

A lot of people with mental and physical handicaps are unable to compete with illegal aliens for the jobs that are within their limited abilities. As the result, these folks are unable to get jobs and are stuck being on the public dole.

Most of us understand that and that is one of our problems with illegals.

You know it is illegal to live in a 2 bedroom home with 12 people of different families, but no one seems to ever get kicked out.

I will say this again, they are paid better than everyone thinks, I was an apartment manager and saw paystubs, most of them make good to better wages than alot of Americans and still live 20 to a house so they have loads of money to send home.

I understand what your saying and it's true but it also comes back on us. Through taxes. medical, welfare, etc.... Think of the millions we lose because they don't pay taxes? That leaves everything I mentioned plus more for us to pay for.

They understand, but they don't want to admit it. People who support illegal immigration will NOT admit to reason.
