Guess what? Writing is not a matter of 'being in the mood'. It is a matter of sitting down and writing. Professional writers write every day, whether they are in the mood or not, because if you wait until the mood strikes you, you may be too late.
So settle down and get with it. Describe someone you know well -- a parent, an aunt or uncle, or a sibling. That should give you lots of material.

I definitely agree with the Old Lady, and the other young lady. Writing about yourself, or a family member is usually easiest, if you actually know the person (including yourself). Unless you someone else better, like J. Edgar Hoover or someone! lol. Put the tv off, put the iPod away, and get to it!

The old lady is right. All you have to do is put a mirror on your desk and describe what you see in it.
