That would be a good time to join a church . There are lots of non-denominational type churches that allow anybody from any religion thru their doors . The Minister there would be glad to perform the ceremony, You'll always remember a church wedding. If U live in a small town , you may have to travel a little to find a church of this type , but they are out there .

We are also not affilitated with any church so this was something we questioned as well. Our solution was to find an alternative to getting married in a church and decided on a nice outdoor wedding in our town's gazebo in the park. Outdoor weddings are really pretty because you can come up with some very unique decoration ideas. Also there really is no limit as to how many guests you can invite and if you have a few people who you forgot to invite and they decide to come, then there isn't an issue with where they will sit.

Do you want a wedding in a church? If you do then go to ANY church and talk with the priest/minister. He may allow it. My friend just got married at a church she had never set foot in before she wanted to get married. AND she and her fiance (at the time) are both NOT confirmed (catholic faith people should be confirmed (a ceremony) before they can be allowed to get married in a church). However the priest still let them get married there. Just shop around to different churches and talk to the priest/minister. Lie and say you want to join.
OR if you dont want a wedding ceremony in the church get married at your reception site or at any location you want. Rent a hall, get married in your parents backyard, where ever you want.

First figure out what type of wedding you to wish to be joined in. Do you want to be married in a church? There are plenty of really nice non denominational churches.
The best places to be married are of sentimental value to you. If your keeping cost down get married at a park or a gazebo area where all you have to do is book it for free.
You can get married on a vacation or a cruise ship...my husband and I got married on a cruise ship before we set sail for our honeymoon. It was way more romantic then hauling down to see a justice of the peace. We were able to change our vows and make our ceremony a combined effort of both of our cultures and beliefs. We incorporated his Cherokee wedding prayer and had a wonderful ceremony.
Best wishes to you both and congrats!

are either of your parents a member of a church?
You can ask just about any church and they will tell you if they have openings for that day or if they have regulations to use their facility.
You can use a park or beach setting depending on where you live.
Try a local business with a nice garden type landscaping
A historic location will for a fee let you hold a wedding most times
Try a home, or country club(even a golf course will sometimes allow you to hold a wedding)

Now is a great time to build a relationship with a church and God. Pick several churches that are near you, and attend two or three times each. The people in the church should make you feel welcome.
Go regularly to the one that seems the most full of love and harmony. This is the best place to get married, and start a relationship with God, and begin your life together. Good luck.

In my home town there are a lot of historical homes and wonderful gardens. Lots of them can be rented for weddings. If you are a history buff or a romantic this is a great way to marry. My husband and I married in the country of Jordan and we plan to remarry next year at a historic home when we get back to the states. this is because we are not of the same religion and so we can not marry in ether of our churches.

We are not members either and our wedding is next year. We are having it at a beautiful hotel. The ceremony will be in a garden outside and the reception inside a ballroom at the hotel.

There is no rule that you have to get married in a Church. if I ever get ,married again I hope to do it in a gazebo at the beach. I don't know where you live, but if the beach is not available, try the park of someones back yard. Finding a minister should be easy, just call a church in your area. Good Luck to you and yours.
