Each week, I weigh my garbage to track how much consumption I am reducing by.

Rather than recycle a bunch of paper, plastic, aluminum, etc. I just don't buy that stuff in the first place. I see bottling soft drinks, including water, as extremely wasteful, so I make my own lemonade and tea or drink water filtered at home.

Subject: DON'T BUY PEPSI IN THE NEW CAN!
Don't buy Pepsi in the new can. Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can
coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the
Pledge of Allegiance on them.
However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge,
"Under God."
Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone.
In that case, we don't
want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either!
So if we don't buy any Pepsi product, they will not be offended
when they don't receive our money that has the words
"In God We Trust" on it.
HOW FAST CAN YOU FORWARD THIS ONE?

I worked at a place that recycles clothing into rag bundles or thrift store items. The time really flies if you ever want to do this. I did it because I had a real need to do something for the environment.

We don't live in a medium. We live in an environment. I've stopped eating store purchased meat. If you don't understand that answer and how it affects the environment, then you need to understand more about the question you're asking.

I telecommute twice a week, which saves on the air pollution my car would otherwise contribute on my 2-hr commute to work.

I drove my diesel truck to work everyday, while leaving all my lights on at home, and I hit a fawn on the way home from work one day.
