I like honey mustard. Sometimes, as crazy as it sounds I use soy sauce or duck sauce. It is pretty good!

Pesto Dipping Sauce
1 cup fresh basil leaves

1 cup Parmesan cheese

3 ¼ ounces pine nuts, toasted

1 cup olive oil

¼ teaspoon salt

In a food processor mix all ingredients together until smooth. Mixer and bowl can also be used. Serves 8.


Lemon Parsley Sauce

1 cup Mayonnaise

½ cup Parsely, chopped

1 each lemon juice

½ cup sour cream

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

¼ cup red onion, chopped fine

In a mixing bowl, mix mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth. Add all other ingredients, mix well. Serve sauce chilled. Serves 8.


Teriyaki Sauce

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

¼ cup fresh ginger root, skinned

4 ounces water

4 tablespoons cornstarch

In a small bowl mix 4 oz. of water and the cornstarch together until starch is dissolved.

In a sauce pan combine the 1 cup of water, soy sauce, sugar and ginger. Mix well.

Place on stove and bring to a boil, stirring as you go. Slowly stir in the cornstarch mixture, streaming it in over the sauce. Bring it back up to a boil. Once it has reached a boil, turn it down on simmer for approximately five minutes. Sauce should be the consistency of syrup. If it seems too thin, add a little more water and cornstarch. Servings: 14


Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

1 cup Dijon mustard

½ cup sour crème

½ cup mayonnaise

½ cup honey

½ teaspoon seasoned salt

1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

In a mixing bowl, mix mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth. Add mustard and honey, mix well. Add seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well, Serve sauce cold. 10 servings.


Marinara Dipping Sauce

1 16 ounce can tomato sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup parsley, chopped

¼ teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 tablespoon olive oil

Heat sauce pan. Add oil and garlic, sauté about 1 minute. Add salt, pepper, and basil. Saute one minute. Add tomato sauce and parsley. Cook on simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot. Servings: 8.


Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce

1 cup buttermilk

½ cup blue cheese

½ cup mayonnaise

½ cup sour cream

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 dashes Tabasco sauce

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

In a mixing bowl, mix together mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth.

Add buttermilk, mix again until smooth. Add seasoned salt Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, and black pepper. Mix well. Fold in blue cheese. Serve cold. Makes 10 servings.
