to fit in the Ark, which was a big floating box, and not a boat meant for sailing?
We know that all bears are related, and have cubs together, such as the Polar/Grizzly mix.

We know that the Meercat and Hyena are related, despite looking different. A male house cat can breed with a female tiger.
The Ark only needed the base genetic forms of each "species", not the millions of different "breeds". Since they began from the point where Eden was, and it was less than 2000 years since the creation of animals, they would still be near by. Even Eden would have still been there.
After the Great Flood, they spread out, genetic material began to mutate, and new breeds began to form. How did animals get on islands? The same question can be asked about the Bikini Islands, which had everything destroyed by the Hydrogen Bomb Test, yet animals have returned without the help of men.

Yes, Evolution and the Bible can work together. By learning about evolution, I learned a lot about how the genetic material of one red man (Adam) can generate the many species of humans. We know that species evolved, by nature, or by breeding, as is done by humans. Where do you think the Polled Hereford came from? For you city folks, ask you country cousins what a Polled Hereford is.
Evolution does not have to mean we came from monkeys. It just means we came from something human. I've never argued against the teaching of evolution in the schools. The only ones that need fear it are those who are not taking the time to teach their own children from the Bible. They rely of others to do their jobs, such as Sunday Schools. Yes, I will always use Evolution to argue the merits of the Bible.

Interesting. The 11th answer, from a Muslim woman who liked my theory and how it made her understand the ark much better, was removed. Apparently someone complained it violated the rules.

Just how many species are there? Since a species is define by whether they can inner breed, not that they look different, there are not as many as thought. Naturalist like to claim there are millions, in fighting pollution and destruction of the Rain Forest, but not even Darwin claimed that.
