I did not propose to my husband, but I see no reason why women can't do the proposing

My bf and I are headed in that direction, but we're not in a place to get married yet. I've asked him what he'd do if I proposed to him- he said he'd try to deflect it. He wants to be the one to ask me- he's old fashioned about some things like that. He said I should just drop a lot of hints. If you're guy would be ok with you asking him, go for it. Good luck.

No, but my son was proposed to and got married. It lasted 2 years.

I proposed to my husband on our second date. I was 27, he was 23. I wasn't into marriage, but we got along so well in the time we had known each other, I just blurted it out. "Let's get married." He said yes, and then we both started laughing. We got married one year later and he got down on one knee at the reception and asked me to marry him. I told him sorry, I was already married. That was 17years ago. We're still together and getting along great.

ICK No way! My man got on one knee (per my instructions beforehand) and asked ME. I would never ask a guy because i wanted the guy to buy me an engagement ring. If you ask a guy then you dont get an engagement ring.

I think women that do this, have no class or dignity.
They know the man wont marry them so they degrade themselfs and ask. Its like doing a mans job
