This is going to sound totally weird, but it's a cheap fix. Carry alcohol swabs with you. They are available at the pharmacy, they're individually wrapped, fit in the pocket of your jeans, and you use one under each pit before gym (and after... they kill the bacteria that causes the odor.)
Try using one to wipe under each armpit... then apply your antiperspirant... so you've killed off the bacteria that will create odor when you sweat... then minimized your sweating.
Wipe again after gym... then apply another dose of antiperspirant... and this should get you through the rest of the school day without embarrassment.
Also... make sure that your Old Spice and Axe say "anti-perspirant" instead of just "deodorant" because deodorant alone won't stop the sweating.

your glands will start to stink after having sweat on them for over 12 hours..so make sure you take a shower daily and wash the pits. Number 2, try Mitchum clear gel, its very effective. If that doesn't work, you can go to drugstore.com and order this deodorant called "CertainDri" which is so strong you can only use it every two days. You likely do not need that if you take a shower each day and use the deodorant immediately after your showeer each day (do not wait to use it until morning or whenever). Then keep a stick inyour gym clothes to use after gym. After gym class, try to use the baby wipes or alchohol wipes like the other girl said to clean the pit area and remove excess stink/sweat that has developed...then get dressed and put deodorant on again. Its of course better to wash the pit area if possible, but knowing you are in a gym class, and it might not be possible, the skin wipes are the 2nd best thing. If someone questions you act like they are dirty nasty stinky bastards for not taking care of their own pits and why would you not want to take care of your pits?

There is this deodorant that is called Mitchium. They have it for men and women. It's so good that it says you can skip a day with wearing it (that is how strong it is). It's good for people who do sports, outside activities, or who know they will be out all day running around so they won't stink. It is so good that you don't sweat under your arms even though you are everywhere else. It works because I am an athletic person. I also know many people who use it. Make sure you take good showers at home. Give your pores some breathing room sometimes too. It works.

My son is 10 and is in the 5th grade. His teacher has made all the boys and girls bring deodorant to school, so they can put it on after gym class. Some of the others on here don't realize that when you are in the 5th grade they don't offer you a shower after gym class. So deodorant is really the only other option. I hope you can find something that works.

AXE AND OLD SPICE are not deodarant's....you need a proper underarm deo..... there are hundreds on the market. Anti persperent...stops you from sweating by blocking the sweat glands under the arm....deodarant masks the smell from sweat. Really depends on your personal choice and how much you really sweat. You should take a daily shower at home prior to school and change your clothes.....Body Odour is really gross....and very unpleasant for all around you..good luck...go to your drug store and try different anti persparants...until you find one that works for you and one that you like the smell off..after gym have a wet washcloth and just wipe the sweat away and administer more deo.

Make sure you bath daily washing under your arms really good. Do you shave? Hair traps the bacteria and smell. Wash under your arms after PE and reapply deodrant. Also, try switching from the same brand you always use, your body has proabley gotten use to it. When I wear deoderant I apply it under my my arm and oin the skin surrounding the area for xtra protection. If this fails talk with the doc, teenage years can be a time where your hormones are trying to straighten themselves out.

Try Arm and Hammer or Mitchel's. My husband works on airplanes in the Florida heat ALL day long and he doesn't come home stinky! He tried the rest and they didn't work.
Also--strangely female deodorant works really well too. He uses it if he runs out--and doesn't come home stinky but "powder fresh!"

Keep trying different deodorants. Start with speed stick 24/7. Not all deodorants work for everyone!
