Not only am I sick of the same foods over and over, but I am sick of food in general, sick of wasting time eating. Even my favorite foods are boring me, eating food isn't fun, it is like breathing-constantly I have to do it every day. It is like watching the same tv show over and over again, its torture, madness. Forced to shove food down my throught every day, we are slaves to food!
I might just start eating carb, protein, and fat supplements, a quick way to fulfill my needs. What would you do?

Try going a few days without any food. Then we'll see if your attitude changes.

Food is a part of life. It becomes part of your childhood memories when you think back to when your mother prepared you something you loved and looked forward to. It is an eye pleaser at holidays. It keeps you active and ready to go for the day. Try not to hate food, and keep on eating. Don't eat the same things everyday, and have a variety. Put more color onto your plate with fruits and vegetables. Supplements are so boring compared to real food. Be an artist and design your own plate using food. Of course you have to eat everyday like breathing, but so it is that you walk everyday, talk everyday, tie your shoes, drive your car, but you still continue. Don't stop eating because it bores you... enjoy the taste, the texture, the things it makes you think about. It's not a waste of time... it's a time to refuel and get back on track. A time to rest and enjoy the moment. A time to relax. So... enjoy your food. =)

I'm not sure what to tell you. I went through an esoteric phase where I was convinced I didn't need food to survive, only air. However now I kind of look forward to eating. Does the food you eat make you feel sick? Sometimes that happens to me. You can try the supplements, it won't hurt anything. Do what you want and experiment. Sometimes if you are tired of something, a break is good.

There are times where nothing interests me in the way of food and other times where I want to "graze" on everything! I also think shopping for food, preparing food, eating, cleaning up the mess (dishes) is a royal pain. It's also expensive to buy food. But, face it, our body requires it - it's fuel. Food is often used for socialization (witness the many restaurants) and some even use it for reward.
As long as we have to spend time buying, fixing, eating and cleaning up - we may as well eat "nutritious foods." So focus your attentions on finding the best-tasting, highest quality foods you can. And often you can find them at organic food stores and they sometimes offer cooking classes to pique your interest in innovative preparation. Try new veggies, etc. We like smoothies instead of breakfast sometimes. Now there is also oatmeal in a cup which you can microwave which is convenient.
Remember your body needs energy in the form of the correct fuel! Make it a challenge to be innovative and you might like it.

I have the opposite problem. I love to eat and most of us eat,
basically the same meals over and over.
Experiment with different foods if it pleases you, but I am annoyed if I try something new and then dont like it.
There is no magic bullet to replace food. If you are eating fast
food all the time - that may be one of your problems - I dont like
it either and dont want to spend a lot of time preparing stuff, but I eat a lot of fruit and canned chunky soups and beans.

Eating just supplements would not be good for you. You wouldn't get any fiber, and you need fiber to keep your lower intestine is shape, otherwise you might end up with colon poloyps.
Why don't you try and find some new foods that you've never had before? Maybe that would make it more worth it to you.

That question is bizarre to me because I love food.
Supplements don't work unless they have food to work with. There is no way you would get all of your nutrients from pills or shakes. That's why they are called supplements.
Try cooking. Eating your own creation is very rewarding.

I think it was Montesquieu that said: "Food is one of three most enjoyable things in life....I still haven't discovered what the other two are". I agree!
