I took some shots of some mountains. I want to combine several photos into one panorama photo. I've seen this before. I have a Photo Editor software, but it's not very advanced. I supposed I could crudely do this in Paint, but is there some way to do this in most photo editors?

Well, "is there some way to do this in most photo editors?".. that's a big question I'm not gonna tackle; suffice to say, I have an image editor with panoramic maker pre-built in it.

For you, you may want to look into this shareware app called "Image Stacker". According to the site, "Image Stacker is distributed as shareware, meaning you are expected to "register" it (i.e. pay $17) to purchase the program. While Image Stacker will operate without registration, it is limited to processing 10 images with sizes no larger than 640x480 pixels." If you can work with those circumstances, you can work with Image Stacker..

There were more apps described on this page http://www.steves-digicams.com/digsoftware_stitch.html but that one seemed like a good deal to me.
