Please help, on my school computers the system tray has been disabled. I need to acces it because of applications like MSN Messenger, or the U3 LaunchPad and other U3 appliciations. Is there any way of viewing the system tray on a limited account like software that I can install on my pen drive so I can view it (it doesnt matter if its not U3 bur if it is :P) Or if you know a way of accesing the U3 LaunchPad after its opend and automaticly minimizes to the tray without using it, like hot-keys. Thanks in advance

I go to a boarding school and there are loads of chinese and asians who spend all there free time eating noodles and finding ways around the school network, and now the school gave us wireless internet on a laptops they dont even need to leave there room. They find a workaround the ICT technicians fix it...its a vicious circle. Some advice: so wont get kicked out of school ( i personally was caught plugging a LAN cable into the school ports and they didnt do anything all they did was confiscate the cable for a week, also try using sites like proxify if you want to acces restricted sites like myspace or webmessenger. If you have access to you internet settings try changing the proxy this will unlock everything including downloads, but word of advice dont tell anyone others the technicians will notice that they have had 1Gb downloads in one day compared to the normal 100mb and will shut you down.

Hope this helps

I agree with earlier responses. The System tray has obviously been disabled for some reason.

Think about it! Is is worth getting kicked out of school for?

The system administrator disabled it for a reason. Go ask your system administrator. If they say no, then forget it. If you play around with it and get caught you could be kicked out of school.

can't do...if your school disabled it, then there's nothing you or anyone can do, other than getting a hacker or have the IT administrator to enable it again
