i always see darks root with light hair but ive never seen light roots w/ dark hair

yes loads of times,,,especially with students ,, blondes going for the goth look you could always check out the eyebrows,, they always forget to tint those

When hair is natural (not dyed) the sun, chemicals from hard water and swimming pools, chemicals we put on our hair, heat from dryers and curling irons...all lighten hair. The roots will always be darker.
Even when I dyed my hair a darker color, it would end up bleached out from the sun; and lighter than my natural color.
Lighter hair and darker roots are more common.

you havent looked close enough.
many ladies who are more gray than not end up with light roots and dark hair.

Oh I have! I've seen a girl with pretty strawberry blonde hair and died it black and the roots still showed.

My hair is like that sometimes. I dye my hair a darker color brown than my natural.
