k, i know this girl that gave me her phone number with me not even asking 4 it. she said something like "you want my phone number?". the thing is she's hot i am usualy a shy guy (she was too, and maybe still is, but not sure) and we smile alot at each other when we meet in social places. i once offered her a flower and she said "i cannot take it" and simply ran away. well i admit it was a premature gesture of me. eversince she gave her phone number she never called or sent any text, just as replys to my SMS, and those were rare too. she then excuses herself like "it was late" or things like that. today i've sent her some SMS again but she only replied with beeps. and the last one she didn't reply at all. i concerned cuz i think she might be throwing me "bones" like i was her dog or something. or maybe she's just checking her options... i don't know. what do u think about this?

The trick is, no female will respect you if you do not assert yourself. She may be throwing bones but you're sounding clingy. Who cares if she texts back? Girls are there to make your life better, to be a bonus, like a cheerleader for all of your accomplishments, a cheerleader for who you are. To revel in your glories and to all around make you feel better, if she doesn't do this, it isn't the end of the world. You were born without her, you'll die without her, She is in no way shape or form necessary to your life. Be more assertive. Follow what you want to do. And tell the truth. If you hold her in too high of a regard, she'll treat you just how you're telling her to treat you. Like a peasant, when she's a "queen". Like some almighty power above you when that is not the case. She isn't shy, She's simply a type of girl who is more focused on what you can give her rather than what you're going to give one another mutually. That's fine. Because in essence, you'd only be with her for the same thing. To make yourself feel better in life. There's nothing wrong with it. But the clinginess causes problems. Stop caring what she thinks so much, and start doing what you wish to. Call her if you need a pick me up, she doesn't answer? shrug it off, You have better things to do. If you don't that's a problem, find better things to do. Life is about you, you should always be promoting yourself forward, and advancing your own position. Anything less is low self esteem. You'll find when this happens, and you're using her as a bonus to life, rather than something that your life should revolve around, all the problems become not so problematic.

She might be a little spooked by the sudden attention. Give her a couple of days, or a week, to chill out and stop calling her. Just say hi when you see her. Be nice, friendly even.
If a girl does not give you any signs that she likes the attention, it means she does not like the attention, and she is half a step away from declaring the guy a stalker.
Or she's playing hard to get, which does not bode well for possible future dating, because who in their right mind wants to have a girl playing mind games, right?

She sounds like a drama queen looking for some fun, and definitely not a relationship. Girls who do stupid stuff and try to keep you on a leash (as per your metaphor) are always nothing but trouble. If you do get involved, I can bet you it'll end in a blowup of drama and probably some heartbreak on your end. Don't bother, look for someone else who actually calls you back and is looking for a relationship instead of some ridiculous drama.

All I can say is that I wouldn't give my phone number to someone who didnt ask unless I was like completely IN LOVE with him.
I'd say she probably likes you, but maybe likes someone more and is wanting to concentrate on him but gave you her number to keep her options open....
Sorry dude , but this doesn't look like a very good situation to me.
