Bush has spent his "political capital". He would have an enormously difficult time convincing the American public that invading Darfur would be justified. In addition, we can only be involved militarily on so many fronts. If we go to war in Darfur, then Iran, and North Korea would certainly take advantage of the situation.
China also presents a problem... will trade weapons for oil... and there is oil in Sudan.

Ah yes... And the Democrats are the keepers of Liberty & Democracy?
President Bush (the Elder) sent the Marines in to Somalia to settle things down and permit the UN to send aid in during their famine. Things working fine.. Clinton then pulls back, changes the rules, and when an operation is botched... RUNS out of Somalia because of the POLL NUMBERS !!
Ask Clinton why he didn't save the million people killed in Rwanda and the Congo while you're at it.
BTW... where are the OTHER fine members of the UN in Darfur ?? Nowhere !!
Save the "oil-lecture" for your fellow 9/11 conspiracy theorists.

I wish we actually did have an evil President so we really could keep all that oil. We should start Conquering our enemies instead of helping them establish their own new Democratic Governments that basically just end up having the same groups of people leading them that hate us.
Sorry Darfur... we can't afford to save you for a week than have you start killing each other again as soon as we leave.
There's a good person in me that hates all that stuff I just said, but even he thinks you people who say we are in the Middle East for Oil are completely blind... it's pretty obvious we aren't keeping the spoils of war, only the burden of rebuilding.

Here is proof you have no idea what you are talking about.
1. We have not required the Iraqi people to repay us.
2. We have millions of barrels of oil in America, we do not have to risk a single life for it.
What about your beloved liberal UN? Why is it that everyone expects the US to intervene in every massacre in the world.
We went into Iraq because
1. Saddam did not keep his part of the cease fire after the Gulf War by allowing UN weapon inspectors into Iraq. By just that we had the right to go in.
2. We cannot risk allowing a country that hates us even the remote chance of getting a nuke. We have the right now to use force on North Korea and Iran. It is only a matter of time.
It is time you learn to think for yourself. You look very foolish.

Regarding the " what no oil" question, You commislamic radicals sure do adhere to the old adage that says, " a lie travels around the world while truth is putting her boots on". You throw so many against the wall that the world believes many of them. You are one main reason that much of the world frowns on the USA.

Libs all of a sudden concerned with the people of Darfur-just before the elections? Hmmm, why weren't you as concerned with the Kurds being gassed among the other atrocities in Iraq? But I agree-the UN (not the US) needs to do something--maybe France can help.

What is this sudden outcry for Darfur, this genocide has been going on for years...suddenly you are taking notice? Could it be because an election is near, it's a propaganda opportunity?
where were the likes of you when the body count wasn't astronomical? Again, it wasn't a good enough democrat propaganda tool....
BTW...OUR troops are valiant!!

What about the millions that were killed in Rwanda and Clinton did absolutely nothing?
Typical liberal, knows nothing about what he runs his suck about. It's called Combined Task Force Horn of Africa. US CENTCOM has been there for several years now.

Democracy Liberty and Freedom? You think G. Dub values any of these including Human Rights? Wrong. America has never had less of any of these in the hisory of this country. We are now subject to terror laws which talke away all of these from the citizens of this country. I am sorry for Darfur and I am also sorry for the citizens of the United States.

Where are the other countries? Its ok for Sadam Hussein to kill his own people and us go in and remove a terrorist and everbody wants to say we invaded Iraq,so this will be another tactic for the dems to use if we go into Darfur. Our military is stretched as it is and since you dems want to run our country and President down..,how about your god United Nations step in..,besides there will be plenty of 12 and 13 year old girls for them to rape.Since you have the intelligence and wisdom and a coward for denegrating our troops in your statement..,take your sorry *** to France you will fit right in.Coward
