Use 3 x 5 cards. Verse on one side, reference on the other--and drill, drill, drill.

Make memory cards. Write the Bible verses you want to learn on cards and carry them with you, Put the verse on one side of the cards and the location in the Bible on the other. Carry them with you wherever you go, take them out on walks and go over them whenever you have a spare moment. Make it a part of your daily quiet time with the Lord. Read the Bible and pray and meditate on your Scripture memory cards. God will bless you. May the Lord renew His Spirit in your Mind!

singing them is a great way to learn. so many songs are scripture, we just don't know it. I asked our praise leader to put the scripture up on the power point with our songs so we would know where there from in the bible.

also tape one on your mirror for the morning.
tape one on your sun visor for that traffic jam on the way to work.
mostly it takes time I find that once i have revalation about a verse, it is in my spirit.

Like said above read them but also have a heart to learn them. Commitment is a key to learning anything. 4 each one you learn you will grow in many ways.

Pick the ones you like best. They will be easier to learn at first.
After that, pick the ones that will help you answer questions asked by others. Then you can help them as you help yourself.
I would suggest John 3:16 first.

Read, read, read, read. I say, don't learn verse as much as context and intent and let the Holy Ghost guide revelation.

When I was really small my mom had me learn them by singing them. It seemed to help me remember some of them beacause I can still think of them!
