Yes; cat's whiskers fall out just like any other hair. The reason whiskers tell a cat so much is that the follicles from which they grow are mapped to a specific area of the brain, so that when they come into contact with an object that causes them to tug even slightly, the brain uses the information immediately. Some experimentation has been done with cats having whiskers removed on one side of the face to determine this. Contrary to popular belief, cutting a whisker will NOT kill the cat; it just means he has a little less sensory information coming in until it grows back.

Yeah they do but cats whiskers are very important to them for getting around an through things and small places. They should never be cut especially if they are an outdoor cat as the whiskers are as wide as their body and acts as sensors to them and tells them if their whole body can pass through a space or not. So yeah they grow back.

Regrowth of an entire set could take two or three months, and your cat would have a difficult time maneuvering around without them.Cats do, however, lose whiskers as part of the normal shedding process.

Yes, they shed them like we shed hair; if the whiskers don't grow back after a couple of weeks, I'd go to the vet...

Yes, i am pretty sure. When my stupid older brother got the toe nail clippers and clipped my cat's whiskers, they grew back. i still have no idea why he did that, maybe just to be mean!
