My 11 year old daughter (small for age) needs to carry her rescue inhaler and Aerochamber spacer with her outside when she has track and field activities. Inside, it's in her mini backpack, but outside she needs a fanny pack type thing to carry it in. The Azmate is too large and dangling to work for her and I can't find a child-sized fanny pack anywhere to fit her waist or that I could even cut the belt to fit her. Any suggestions or info on where I can find a child-sized waist pack that might work for her? Thanks!!

Try Ebay, and this may sound wierd, but my daughter was very tiny too, and had asthma. When she was little we had a small dog that had a fanny pack for when we went to the park. Sometimes, she would wear the dogs fanny pack, because it was so tiny it fit her! But Ebay really has a wide variety.

Go to Wal-Mart, and go into the sporting goods department, and you may be able to find a small fanny pack there. If you cannot find one there, try going to garage sales, and/or going on eBay, and type in "Fanny Packs" on the search. Sorry to hear that your daughter has asthma.

Go to ebay.com
They currently list 9 fanny packs for kids and a seller named KNIFEPOST sells them in a variety of colors. They all seem pretty inexpensive.
Hope this helps.

I bought my daughter a nebulizer that you use albuterol in that is travel size ...It hitches right to her pants waist band and looks alot like a portable cd player and takes less then 10 seconds to use..another idea could be buying a drink container that has a large mouth and clip it to her pants and drop it in their ...their are a lot of different ideas that the medical supply store or maybe your pharmacy can help you with

it is not needed in case you are able to time the inhale good once you puff the inhaler. yet maximum folk would be unable to time it good, so the spacer helps considering the fact which you are able to shop respiratory interior the drugs out of the spacer rather of dropping it to the air.

Iam assuming you have tried department stores and thrift shops so I would suggest calling the American lung association and see if they have or can get a custom job for her special needs if you know of someone who crochets they can make one for you to your specs Gorbalizer
