Congrats on the new addition to your family.
Go to google.com & research the 2 breeds. It would probably have been better to have researched before aquiring your new puppy but it's never to late!
I took the liberty of looking up the Standard of each breed to give you an idea of height & weight...
Dachsund:
Bred and shown in two sizes, standard and miniature, miniatures are not a separate classification but compete in a class division for "11 pounds and under at 12 months of age and older." Weight of the standard size is usually between 16 and 32 pounds.
Miniature Bulldog (I wasn't sure of whether it was English or American):
Height: Males: 11-14 inches (27cm-35cm) - Females: 10-13 inches (25cm-33cm
Weight: Males: 14-17kgs - Females: 12-15kgs
I too think it should only grow to be a medium sized dog. You will need to make sure, when he is full grown, that his house/kennel is large enough for him to stand up straight & turn around in.
If possible, it would be best to keep the puppy indoors, especially if still young. However, I don't know the deatils of your entire situation so I won't comment on it. If the puppy will be sleeping outdoors, provide it with shelter from the rain & cold, perhaps a blanket & or rug type thing to sleep on too for warmth. Maybe even a soft toy to keep it company & make it feel safe at night.

A Dachshund doesn't get very large - perhaps 10 - 15 pounds. I'm not sure about a miniature bulldog. Sounds like an interesting mix, though! When you take him to the vet to get his shots, let them advise you on how big he'll get.

I just went online and googled different information when I got my new pup. Congratulations! Also as a suggestion, give your puppy a toy, shirt, or even a small blanket to sleep on. I did this and now when I want my puppy to sleep in his dog house (instead of his crate in the garage), I put his blanket there and he knows what to do! It's actually cute! Good luck

my first question would be: why do you need a dog house? if the dog is going to be in the house, a crate will do just fine. This is a medium size dog at best and should not be tethered outside which leaves the dog open for predation.

all your dogs gonna need is a crate. My pit bull is in a large one so I'm guessing a medium. To make mine really fun and cute, I went to target and bought the patches you use on home made baby clothes and hot glued them to her crate with name above the door and everything. So its not like this hugh unattractive box in my living room. Its cute and matches the colors in my house.

Well... I have a dachsund/chiuaua mix and she will only get to be about 7 pounds. IF that. So I dont know how big a bull dog is but compare it with a chiuaua and see...
