There is a code number you need to put into your remote control which varies by TV model.
You can look on the original remote instructions on which buttons to press to do this or search the web for manufacturers codes.
Look uo the code for goldstar TV and then follow the instructions for your remote on how to enter the codes.
If you do not have the instructions any more, a new unversal remote will cost you about $10, I suggest you keep the instructions next time.

Ring up the Sky technical services and tell them the make and model of your TV and they will tell you the code for your remote and talk you through how to enter it.
