I've read several articles (and testimonials of asthmatics on message boards), which suggest marijuana can be GOOD for asthma. It is said that marijuana relieves the symptoms of asthma by opening the airways in the lungs. Comments????

I can't see how smoking anything could possibly be beneficial to someone with asthma. It could possibly calm someone and relax their bronchial tubes short-term in certain situations. But I would think that other relaxation methods would be far less harmful.

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

I wouldn't really know about marijuana as I've never felt the need to try it, however I feel sure that asthma is best helped by avoiding the things which we all know make it worse such as smoky atmosphere, dust mites, animal fur, pollen, feathers etc. If you have asthma you can have teststo see which of these things is causing yours....

Wrong. Smoking marijuana can be like smoking 3 cigarettes at one time causing more damage to the lungs. Asthmatics should avoid smoke of any kind entering the lungs

no, it destroys lung particles and the brain itself. Although what you might be thinking is that is helps relax the muscles preventing it from constricting. You are partially right in the short term but wrong in the long term. Don't even start it, the particles will quickly trigger an attack
