we have eyes so we can see,and man did not come from fish

because man evolved from fish (although very indirectly, and not from the sort of fish you're used to.)
however,,, IF man and fish did not benefit from having eyes, then neither one of them would have eyes. so, one could argue that the reason people have eyes is because both of those things.
remember,,, lots of animals do not have eyes or any sort of vision, but would be a lot better off if they did. so, simply needing eyes isn't enough to make them happen. if we had evolved from starfish, then we probably wouldn't have eyes even though they'd still be useful to us. (although, it's possible that they might've evolved.)

Because they both needed to see. We did evolve from fish, yes, but if we didn't need to see then our eyes would have evolved out since then (we split off from them about 300000000 years ago, plenty long enough to evolve out eyes if it gave us a benefit).

both needed to see.. its a bit like how insects and bats both have wings, they didnt come from one another, but they both needed to fly, and there are only so many ways to fly

we didn't evolve from fish....maybe gorillas i don't think so god mad a distinct figure of man and animal not an evolvation but we have eyes cause we need to see

we evolved from fish .. but yes we both need to see as we are predators and prey.. see your dinner.. or run from your eater..
