Boy, is THAT an oxy-moron! I laugh, because I have YET to find any 'friendly' Military Wives. Most of them are so self-absorbed and wear their husband's Ranks....
By the way, I am a Military Spouse and have encountered wives such as above....this is why I stick to myself or make friends with the Germans around me...

Watch "The Unit" on CBS which portrays military wives in the most realistic way possible. I still stand by the above answer because maybe there isn't a self-absorbed, jingoistic military wife out there.
