Pray to Jesus Christ by name.
Become Baptized and repent of sins.(do not willingly sin after baptism)
Pray that the holy spirit comes into you and makes you whole.
Follow god's commandments and love god with all your mind and soul and heart.
And love your neighbor as yourself.
If you do these things then Jesus Is your lord(king whose will you do)and savior (the Christ,redeemer of all sins of those who believe unto him)
You must do all these things to be saved.
My eyes have been opened recently to these facts.
Its all true.
Jesus Christ is lord and savior of the earth.

Go about 5 miles down the interstate, make a left at the old house with a large oak tree in the yard, go about two miles until you come to a large ranch-style house sitting on about 60 acres and surrounded by woods. Take the circular drive up to the house and knock on the door. If he's home, he'll answer....if he's out doing chores, you'll probably get his wife Mary. Just tell her you want to see JC and she'll make sure you do.

God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child. To think that some fake, made-up god would mate with a Human to create a god/Human hybrid is absurd. To find god, you must put on your god helmet. To do this, just stretch your sphincter muscle over your ears.

Honest, sincere, prayer, said in solitude should be a good place to start. Tell Him what you're going through, and what's on your mind.
I'd like to suggest that you find a Christian friend with whom you can have a sincere discussion. You need some dialogue.
He knows you struggle. Keep an open heart.

Endure something horribly tragic. You'll be so emotionally vulnerable, you'll cling to whatever belief will give you any kind of comfort that can dull the pain of what just happened. That's one strategy.
The other is to observe others you respect or want to impress "finding God," and then doing so in turn to get either their attention or a place in their society. Your natural human desire to be social will get you there. (Edit: looks like someone above already suggested finding a "Christian friend"...interesting.)

Only you can. Look inside yourself........he is there. But you have to open the door. Did you ever see the picture of Christ at the door knocking waiting to be let in. he could not get in as their was no handle on the outside of the door. It has to be opened from the inside!

Read the Gospel of John, from which you will see that God welcomes all who truly turn to Him. And Matthew 7 v. 7-8 says: "Ask and it will be given unto you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks recives: he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." That's a promise. God is eager to welcome you back: all you have to do is take Him at His word.

When this happens to me I ask God to help me, that I've lost my way and please bring me back to him. I ask that He forgive me for whatever it is that I got disracted with and I miss Him and want back. I tell Him is the only God in my life and He's always true to bring me back to him.
