Try the Glycemic Index diet. It is very easy to follow and very healthy. Its basically a low carbohydrate diet. As for pills, I have heard good things about green coffee extract to fight belly bulge. I have not tried it yet but am going to definitely try it as my friend got great results.

know how you feel, but it isn't going to be that easy-it took you a year to get that way it isn't going to drop off overnight, even if you took pills and it did, it would go straight back on again.

The only advice you should follow is your docs-eat healthily and well and exercise moderately and frequently, easier said than done I know.

personal advice, what worked for me?

I bought several exercise dvds before I found the right one for me, I stuck with it and did an hour a day, meanwhile, I made sure I ate breakfast everday, snacked at about 11, had a lunch and proper dinner (home cooked - meat, veg, mash, small portion pud) and a small supper, once your body realises it isn't going to starve it comes out of starvation mode and with the regular exercise (which could include swimming and walking) which tones up your muscles making them work even when you are not exercising then 6 months down the line no problem, no calorie crunching or wishful wanting on the dieting front.

anyway good luck I lost 4 stone then got pregnant! still it all came off when I had him. It has stayed off since.

Don't go with the diet pills route. If you take an honest look at your diet and cut out the chocolate, crisps, cakes, alcholol etc then you will start to lose wieght.

Step up the veg and fruit and drink loads of water - trust me it works.

Try it for 4 weeks and see how you go - and let me know if you like.

I constantly struggle to keep m wieght down but when I am focused I know that the above helps.
One more trick - if you crave chocolate have a green apple with a low cal choco drink - it works - it really makes you think you have had something!!!! - let me know how you go Fran

Get a copy of the South Beach Diet. It began as a diet for heart patients. It was designed by a cardiologist and a nutritionist. It helps regulate your cholesterol and triglycerides in order to prevent you from getting diabetes and heart disease. The side benefit of this diet is that it also causes you to lose weight. It's a healthy eating plan for you to live by. Read the whole book. It goes in phases. If you just read the first phase you may not try it. Phase one is the strictest phase, but it only last for two weeks. It really works. You'll lose weight and be healthier.

Another route is a raw or living food diet. Nothing is prepared over 120 degrees. I know that does not sound really appetizing, but check out the links below. I have been doing it for about a year now and I really like it. I was able to loose about 20 pounds. I was not particularly heavy to begin with and 20 pounds was a good target for me.

Enjoy!

I personally haven't had to go on any diets and Im only 14 but my dad and uncle did really good on the Atkins. You just have to really want to lose weight and stick to the diet. :)

Sorry to be a bore but there is no quick fix answer which is healthy or long-lasting. Its all about buring off more calories than you consume...end of story. Its not easy but it is possible. Join a gym or take up a sporting activity you enjoy which increases your heart rate sufficiently and start a healthy balanced diet.

as a personal trainer i really sholdnt recommend these but if your unhappy and want to lose the weight you have gained quickly then try the silver slimming tablets, you can buy them online and they are absolutely fantastic!
alternatively, you should exercise regularly, only 30-40 minutes of CV work a day will have the weight flying off, also eat healthily, balanced meals each day, chicken is excellent.
hope this helps
