German Shepherds. They are they only ones I've had my whole life so I might be a little biased about it, but they are loyal and smart. There are different dogs for different people and for me, German Shepherds are just great.

For the family, I personally recommend Cocker Spaniels or Labs. I personally love all dogs, lol.

my favorite is a Dalmatian. Most people say they are the least smart dogs, but I had one before and he was very loyal.

For small breeds, I think the Maltese is the best.. they are intelligent, loyal, and child friendly.
For large breeds, I think the Greyhound is THE BEST!
