First off, doesn't it stop becoming "personal" when you Christ Cultists congregate or try to spread you BS religion to other cultures? Personal means you go into your bedroom , lock the door and dance around with snakes, talk to yourself (pray) or read some fiction (the bible).
Secondly, the whole Idea of a relationship with a person you have never met or even worse a deity that doesn't exist seems borderline delusional...wait, it is delusional. With that logic I can claim I have a relationship with Winona Ryder even though I have never met her, spoken to her. Hell my relationship with her has more substance because I can at least look at a picture of her and get wood.

you would have to meet Him to understand and feel the life changing power He gives upon your rebirth. To be able to walk away from pornography and various sins you had never been able to control on you own no matter how hard you tried is a miracle dude. Couple of problems with your reasoning...do you believe in electricity? How 'bout gravity? Lots of things that affect us in our daily life are not physically tangible, but they are real, nonetheless.
Second of all, Christianity isn't a cult. 2 billion+ believers worldwide kinda refutes that...a little.
And...how 'bout that inflammatory little word "delusional." Do your homework before you toss that word around. The evidence supporting the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is real, and compelling...read it first, then tell us why you think we are delusional...

God does exist, and that i see Him common interior the small issues. i've got self assurance Him interior of me, and notice how he's continually attempting to maintain the international from being destroyed, because of the fact of our very own fault. What evidence are you able to offer me that it rather is delusional? Please do not ask "why does this god we could the Earth be so crammed with issues?" because of the fact it became into not His unique undertaking, He intented us to be perfect, yet we chosen to not be.
