It was no sacrifice at all. Jesus knew he was the son of god and knew he would go to heaven so the Crucifixion didn't really matter.

Well, let's see. In your spare time, look up a site that speaks about what exactly being crucified entails..including the agonizing pain to your body, hanging on a cross. What happens to your internal organs. Come back and tell us how happily you'd go through it, to pay for the sins of people who mock you!

You would be right but that isn't why Jesus was sacrificed. Jesus was the Ultimate Sacrifice for our sins and us. Like in the Old Testiment when they had burndt offerings and the like. God did away with that and made His Son thee sacrifice. Jesus could have gone back to Heavan at any given moment but He loved us enough to go thru the terriable suffering He went thru.

Heaven belongs to Christ but he wanted to make his heaven complete was the thing that he created that he loved most. Remember Christ has an enemy that his trying to destroy what belongs to Christ. How does the devil destroy what belongs to Christ....he kills them. So Christ came to earth to be killed but really gave his life willingly. By him doing that he made it possible to save some of his creation so when he finally brings his followers home his heaven will be complete.

I really don't think it would be a pleasant way to die. If you want to try it, I am sure you can find a sicko with three nails and a tree.

ya, it's a good thing I wasn't Jesus. I'd have never done it for people like you. I'd have never done it for people like myself.

That's where He showed us what love really is
