if a fart is loud enough that an excuss me is in order. then it is impossible to say excuss me. because if a fart was that loud, then the person who farted is laughing so histerically, that they are unable to say excuss me.......
farting is a way that our body releases pressure inside of us. Farting is a good thing. The louder the better. Laughing at farts is an american past time. It use to be baseball and apple pie, but now its if farting and laughing about it.
yes your question is funny. anything that has to do with farting is funny...
a friend of mine she has this battery powdered fart machine. it is fun by a remote control. you can choose how loud and how long you want the fart..... it works quite a few feet away.
we have always joked about taking to to church, going in early before anyone is there. and taping it under a pew in the middle of the church. we thought it would be cool to sit close by the get everyone reaction. but we would be busting a gut so bad, that it would be obvious who was behind it...
imagine sitting in church, and it is quiet, and all of a sudden you hear these loud fart noises. not one but two... no one know exactly who let one wrip.....
now that would be so funny..... it would be a pee your pants situation... the people in that pew would be looking at each other and not know what to say because they have no clue who did it...

Let's face it, passing gas is a normal bodily function but I personally think you should try to do it in private. If a fart should accidentally sneak out (which I would find embarrassing), then say "excuse me".
I knew a girl that would fart in public. We would be in a grocery store and she would lift her leg slightly and just let it rip. It wasn't that she thought it was amusing, it was just her. She had other bazaar antics as well.

For me it is, I mean it's not like it's something bad, everyone has done it before. But it is emberissing to me, I don't know for other people.
