If it is above .05% As beer is usually above .05% when it leaves the nozzle in a pub regardless whether the addition of lemonade brings the percentage down or not, the shandy will still be classed as an alcoholic drink. Canned Shandy is fine.

PS a person at the age of 16 and 17 may have a stout or porter if it is served with food. But it must be served at the same time as the food. Once the food has been consumed the drink will be taken away.

Any percentage of alcohol in a beverage would deem it alcoholic, so therefore at even 0.1% you would need to be 18 to buy it-if it was stipulated to be an alcoholic drink, which it would have to be declared, by law. xx

I WORK IN A SUPERMARKET AND WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER/LAGER TO ANYONE WHO LOOKS UNDER 21! NOT JUST 18. SO THE RULES DON'T APPLY TO JUST ALCOHOLIC DRINKS.
