the bottom line is ---IT IS A MATTER OF FAITH AND BELIEF. NO ONE KNOWS!!! get over it. People believe what feels right to them.

I am sorry you have been so completely mis-informed about Christianity. I can not here, correct all of the mis-information you have been fed.
As far as which makes more sense to the human mind and understanding, Science or any higher power religion; you are correct science makes more sense but logic does not make truth. Much in the world and universe is true but not logical. Faith is an inward sense that is not quantifyable. Most people go for a period of time needing to try to understand in quantifyable terms the nature of life, the universe and everything. (pssst it 42 if you read the trilogy) You are normal. You probably even get urked when folks try to evangalize to you. All I ask is you keep and open heart to the posibility of something different. If you avoid hardening your heart to God at a time right for you, God will make God's self known to you in a way that will convince you.

Firstly, you are ignorant to what Christianity teaches. Secondly, I could turn around and say the same thing about those of you who are a minority and believe that everything just appeared one day because it felt like it. Thirdly, even though I don't buy into the Theory that you hold as "fact" at least I possess the ability to use correct grammar when I attempt to insult someone. Have a nice day!

If you believe God is an old man in the sky, yeah. Try studying artificial intelligence and emergence. It basically says our consciousness emerged from complex systems. If that's the case who's to say the same could not have happened for an even greater consciousness. There are even physicists who theorize the universe is a giant computer and conscious in humans is a natural emergent event. Who's to say there isn't and can't be a greater consciousness when we can't even explain our own consciousness? You? If so, then your wisdom must be worthy of the Nobel Prize.

What you're saying is totally false. Jesus Christ is 100% real and the Bible is God's Word, which is the truth.

No.
It is saying that there is a God, Who created you, and me, and everything else that exists, and Who loves us so much, that He became a human being, just in order to give us a chance to get to know Him a bit better.
For all you know, this reality is only a phase of His creation...the best is yet to come!

I love Sleek's Tinkerbell's and SH1's answers. It is a rotten thing when somebody has to talk in negative terms based on their own prejudices, fears, and unbelief of the truth.

If you have such a stupid opinion like that why are you asking such a question? You need to snap out of it before you are killed instantly or your heart stops beating in the middle of the night. I would hate for you to wake up in a lake of fire. WHAT IF THE LAKE OF FIRE IS REALLY TRUE? You will unfortunately be in it.
