Actually, they both count. Finding the courage to talk to someone is a pretty big thing. Obviously he really likes you or he wouldn't have stumbled over his words. It seems that those guys who are smooth talkers are normally full of it. Maybe you got lucky and this one is for real. Congratulate yourself. Not only do they talk to you, but you make them nervous too!

I think that it's the fact that he came up to you because that shows that he's interested in you. Not all people stumbles over his words when they see something pretty. ;-)

I think it's so endearing if he stumbles over his words. It shows he's nervous and sincerely likes you. So I would definitely say that it matters more that he even came up and talked to you.

This sounds like desparation. Surely you think more of yourself. If a guy is stumbling over his word, he is drunk and I would care less about what he has to say. Maybe ouo need to look for men somewhere else.

I love shy guys. If he can build up the courage to talk to me, that's definitely a point up for him. But one point isn't going to get a guy too far in the game so he better shine after he makes the initial approach. He has to get his sh*t together and be able to have a coherent conversation with me for the longer term.

It depends on what he says. If he has a good pick up line and stumbles on his words it could be cute.

the fact that he came up and talked...that takes a lot of courage if you are shy ...so would show me he probably does like me...
whereas a charmer can talk to anyone and it can mean nothing.....
go for it....the stumbling will stop

It's the fact that he came up and talked to me. People are shy and some are outgoing.
