i go to church to Worship with my brothers & sisters in Christ and to learn more about His word and how it plays out in my life.
I go there to pray with others and in silence.
i also go to the woods or the ocean or my backyard or my car or even my shower to pray -- you can pray every and anywhere!

Christians don't need a church, the church building doesn't hold any spiritual value at all, we pray to God whenever and wherever.

Thank you very much! An appropriate greeting today for Jews is to wish them an "easy fast" (tzom kal). We fast from sundown Sunday until sundown Monday.

No, you go to church to learn God's Word. Prayer and worship is personal, private, and done alone. It is something between you and God, not a demonstration of your faith to the others.

i don't know if i'm one of the ones that's supposed to answer this, since i'm none of those religions. but my religion is Wicca, and my "church" is basically with me all the time. but if i'm doing ritual or spellwork, or heavy meditation or prayer, i'll be in my ritual area, that is by my altar in my protective circle.

**Edit** oh and i forgot to add this.... if you wanted to include Wiccans in your blessings, our general term is "Blessed be"
