It depends on your religion. If you are of a christian faith, It may not be good to have them in public schools past 4th grade. Think about it , They took prayer out of the schools, but they can teach the THEORY of evolution. Looking at yahoo answers shows me there is a higher number of athiests than I previously thought. Do you want an athiest to teach your child evolution? How do you know the teacher is not on drugs? How do you know your child wont be molested at school? How do you know your child wont be beat up by some tough kid. If none of these things mentioned, then you can let them go to public school.

Parenst seem to think that a private/Catholic school is always ebtter for their child. So if theire child acts up, is distracted in public school, or they just plain old think they will get a better education, they sned them there. I knwo that many of the kids and types of kids at private schools are NOT much better people, or christans then those at my public school.

It always depends on hoe well youre public school in the area is. Mine does very well, so we've never had a problem. Not all areas are that fortunate.

i think ti depends mroe on location.

I went to public schools but wished my mother had been able to send me to Catholic school- it was really hard to show up to school on Ash Wed. and have kids make snide comments about me have 'dirt' on my forehead. It really depends upon you. Are the public schools in your area really bad academically or is there a lot of drugs/violence,etc.? Sending your kids to a religious school won't make them more holy or faithful- that comes from you and the example that you set for them. But ultimately, I do think that religious schools are better, if you are teaching them about God at home it is nice to have your values and morals reinforced in the school environment.

regular schools are fine. If kids go to regular schools they are expossed to the real world. Not that there is anything wrong with Christian Schools, but in regular schools you get more diverse people, need to make more choices and stuff..its all good

Regular schools, as anything about God should be taught by the parents. If your faith has the blessings of the Holy Spirit, than there is nothing to worry about.
