The reason your loved ones are telling you to go to the library, church functions, etc. to find a good woman is because in these places you are probably more likely to find a smart, honest and truthful kind of gal instead of finding one that runs around, cheats and lies to you which your more likely to find in a bar or party place! Your loved ones know what they're talking about! Good luck!

I'll agree that most people these days aren't finding their mates at church, the supermarket, or the library. Check out the divorce rate to see how it's working for those people who go "where people naturally go to find a partner/mate/hook-up." You need to re-evaluate your paganism, the places people "naturally" go, and what you find when you go there. Maybe the library or the supermarket would be a better place to go, after all. And church would be great if you'd go and let God work in your life. I think your family and friends just might be on to something worthwhile!!

first of all- church isn't for a hook up with girls. chicks who go to church every week take thier beliefs seriously... therefore not there to meet guys and deffinatly turned off by guys that go to church for that reason.
second- if you're into brainy chicks the library's the place for that. who knows you may learn a thing or two.
if you're just looking for a hook up go to the obviouse place- a bar or club. short term comittement however you may not remember it all the next day

Maybe because they'll believe you'll find someone who's right for you there. But you have to look where you're interested. If you're interested in bowling go to a bowling alley. You have to find someone that fits you...not your family. Unless that's important to you.
