New York City or Las Vegas. Yet by chef do you mean a sous chef, the one who runs the kitchen. An executive chef, the one who makes sure the kitchen is running smoothly and that supplies are always availabe. Then you have the garde manageir, who is in charge of the salads. If you have some experience, say two years, that's the position you'll start at in NYC two-star restaurants or in Las Vegas buffet room. Just remember it's fun, but really hard work.

I don't know about the MOST but Florida is very big on hospitality and restaurants play a big part of it. My brother in law graduated from the Culinary Institute of America up North and he went to work in Florida around South Beach. Very fancy restaurants.
I myself have eaten at a darling 5 star place inside of Disney. Florida has quite a few 5 star places.
