Ignore him. If he is really into you and you are not available it will drive him crazy and he will want you back. Personally I think he is right and you can probably do better. But if you must... then don't be so desperate.

Ouch...I'm sorry to hear that you're about to get your heart broken. What you need to realize though is that he just told you from his own lips that he doesn't want a long-term relationship.
So whatever you guys had before he moved off to go to college, is all that he wanted. I'm sorry to tell you that, there's nothing you can do to *make* someone want you.
They either want to be with you or don't. If they say they don't, do you really want to try to make them think any differently? Is that the type of controlling relationship you want?
Trust me there are more guys out there, and better ones for sure that will be interested in a long-term relationship.

The best thing that u can do is try and contain your feelings and give him the space that he need so he can pursue his dreams of an appropriate education, if you really meant something to he'll return to you and that when you'll know for sure that he's trully yours, in the mean time keep in touch with but on a friend to friend bases, give him advise on how to deal with issues that you may think he might come across in the environment his in, a lot of patience and a levelof understanding is needed when in a long term relationship!

You don't want someone back if they never wanted to be back with you in t he first place. Your heart may be broken but you can rest assured that he isn't thinking twice about your feelings. He's probably banging some other girl. Get over it and find someone who values your feelings and won't move away from you.

You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. If he wants to be with you, he will make an effort to be with you. It sounds like he is using the distance thing as a way to let you down easily. Don't force it or you will push him away anyways. Take your time and live life; take a step back and don't fall too far too fast. It will work out.

I suspect you meant long distance relationships, not long term. Get a life while he is gone, improve yourself so when you do see him, he will not want to loose you. Life is not fair, it just is what it is and there are many fish in the sea. He will probably not be the last guy you fall in love with.

Why do you want to get someone back that doesn't seem to want you?
You want to be in a relationship with someone who wants you! Otherwise, whats the point?
Concentrate on YOU! Take care of yourself, go out with friends and forget about him! There are other fish in the sea!

Get him back??? He's in college. Do you want him to quit?? He probably would have asked you if you could move to be closer to him if that was his intention or maybe he might think that's not an option. Talk to him then you'll know

You are too young to worry about a high school boyfriend. But since you are... just stay in touch. If you continue to show him you care for him, with out being a stalker, he may come back.

If you are so sure the only reason he broke up with you is the distance3 and you love him so much, if your situation would allow it (I am not so sure how old you are so that will be an important factor) you could move to the same city he is at.
