He has self esteem issues or you are too good for him and he knows it. He's probably shy. Don't answer his calls. I say if a guy can't leave a message when you don't answer then he doesn't have what it takes. He needs to get a backbone.

Usually when I call the guy that I'm in deep like with and I get the answering service I hang up because I'm painfully shy. But calling someone and getting thru and then still hanging up? Sounds kinda creepy.

no he really likes you but is to shy to tell you.. it hard but next time he calls you tell him you know how it is and tell him other talk to me or i wont anwer the phone next time.
