Neither. Just cut down on the portions (god i should take my own advice sometimes)and eat healthier meals (brekkie especially, you must eat this), less junk. Cut DOWN (not completely out) on the snacks. Aaaaaaand exercise!!!
If you can, stay out of the gym try a sport, walking, running, cycling or swimming. If you're trying to lose weight then its fun, aerobic exercise you need. Get your mates involved you don't have to stand on treadmill watching MTV. Have fun!!
Weight loss need not be a Stalinist regime. Do it sensibly, do it over time and you will enjoy it and most importantly you will see lasting results.

I've been goin for hypnosis for a few weeks for weight loss and its really worked. I was a bit skeptic when i first started it but up to now i've lose over 15 pounds. I would recommend hypnosis for ANYTHING to anyone. Hope This Helps

Save yourself money and just cut down on what you eat , eat the same things but less of them and you will sure to see a differance in a short time, the only weight will be the money you will have saved not buying as much and by not paying the fees good luck as i did it ..

Neither. Go see your Doctor and ask him/her if you can see a dietitian. That's the best way. They'll look at what you eat (if you keep a diary) and show you where your going wrong.
It worked for me, no diet ever has.

use the freezer to add some extra oomph to summer foods freeze grapes for some bite sized delights or get a popsicle mold and freeze some greek yogurt with berries
