I want to understand the detailed process for creating the Living Trust and what are the Tax benefits? I'm a legal resident of the US and have young kids. Want to make sure I plan for their future. I don't have the money to go to a CPA or to an attorney. also are there any free services available?

You can purchase the Suze Orman Will & Trust Kit from Ebay which is a CD with the information and forms that you need to have in order to establish the trust; however, you should have them reviewed by a competant attorney in estate planning. It will be worth the cost of a professional review while you are alive than waiting for your heirs to discover the state is going to decide and dispurse your assets instead of you.

Paying an attorney to draw up a living trust will cost less than doing it wrong. The laws involved are much to complex to properly explain on Yahoo Answers.
