Yes it does work

I have used it in the past and it worked for me
there is no burning sensation so its easier to hold it for the recommended time

- i recommend you use the crest white strips to remove any stains you have now, only use what you need, i think only people with the worst case needs the whole box, i only used it for a few days and they were white
- then i used the whitening pre brush rinse to help keep them white by removing daily stain causing food/drink

I was told baking soda damages the enamel. When my son when to his dentist he inquired about the dentist whitening his teeth. The dentist told my son that the crest white strips work very well and less expensive. So my son used the crest white strips and got his teeth the whiteness he wanted and uses the listerine pre-brush rinse to keep them white. His teeth are very white. The rinse removes surface stains before they get really bad.

I use it daily too for the crowns on my implants. Coffee does a number on my teeth and this rinse keeps them white.

It doesn't stay on the teeth long enough to work, most carbamide peroxide bleaches need at least 30 min. to work setting in some kind of tray on the teeth. Since the color of your teeth mainly comes from your dentin ( inside layer under your enamel) you have to soak through your enamel to change the color of your teeth and this takes time. I would use baking soda for mouth oder control anyway, since mouth smell comes from bacteria, there is no way food will ever help long term, it will only get worse with time. Anything with flavor will make this problem worse, so stick with straight baking soda.
