The Bible is the word of God. People who follow the word of God are Christians. Protestant churches in general do so, including mine. My family was formerly Catholic, but changed to a protestant church because there were teachings in the Catholic church that contradict the Bible. My church teaches not to insult Catholics, but to show them that salvation comes by grace, not by works and that Jesus is the only mediator between God and men, rather than Mary or any of the saints.

First it seems that you are insulting Protestants. Here is a little history lesson. Way back in the day around the 1500's there was this man named Martin Luther. Catholicism was the official religion of the time. Some people however didn't want to be Catholic. So Mr. Luther started his own church and now we call most churches under the Christian faith to be Protestant. Catholics and Protestants are very different in the way they practice their faith, however they all pray to the same God. So to say that the only true Christian religion is simply your opinion. I know that many people believe that you must be part of their religion or you won't make it to heaven. Some one who is Muslim for example will very much disagree with your statement. And you shouldn't assume that everyone will insult. We are not all rude.

Today's Protestants are simply practicing the faith traditions they were either born into, or they converted to, in good faith.
Anyone who truly believes in Jesus Christ may be called a Christian, so they certainly have that right.
They have been conditioned to believe a host of lies about the Catholic Church, simply because learning the truth would leave them no other choice but to become Catholic.
The Catholic Church remains the only church which was personally established by Jesus Christ, the only church which posesses
the fullness of all God's truth, and which enjoys the great blessing of his real presence, as well as the grace-giving power of all the other sacraments.
Please give our separated brethren a break.
It's tough trying to make sense of the faith when so many of its' truths have been deliberately hidden or misrepresented by Protestant "reformers" who should have known better.

I agree.
Catholicism is the mother of all the other Christian sects. Catholics carry the legacy of
Jesus and Peter and all the other Christians
came from Catholicism.
The only true and original Christian religion are
the Catholics. The others are apostates and
rebels that went and developed their own
hybrid of Catholicism.
Have a blessed day.

FYI: particular, Martin Luther became a sinner yet thats not why he chop up from the Catholic Church. He did this because of the fact he disagreed with the way that the Catholic Church practiced its preaching of indulgences and such. They needed human beings to pay funds to have their sins forgiving and that they are kinfolk stored from the depths of heck. Why you may desire to ask? Greed and funds became would desire to construct extra church homes. extra extra, he believed that folk would desire to have a connection with god at a private point and not in direction of the church. The Catholic church believed that one would desire to not comprehend the be conscious till defined via a clergyman. So he translated the hot testomony from Greek to German so each and every guy or woman could make their own strategies up approximately what it says. And finally he believed Christ to be a forgiving god not a wrathful one. lower back then their became no KJV in german purely in English.

Your question assumes that Catholicism is the only religion in Christianity. I think the question is best stated "What is Christianity?". Who was Jesus? What did Jesus claim?" then the questions go on. Christian means to be Christ like. I am sorry to say to those who say Christianity isn't a religion. Religion in its basic term is worship of any deity. I worship Jesus he is my religion and through that Jesus creates a relationship. Jesus said He was the only way to the father and no one else could get to the father but through him. Jesus said he died for everyone who believes will be saved. Do all denominations hold to the core of Jesus teachings? I would say both do and there are extremes on both sides where they distort the core meaning of Why Jesus came and that is Man was dead in there state and God manifested Himself in flesh (Jesus) to bear the penalty for all those who believe so that he can give them a new heart and spirit.

Your theology is as bad as your spelling.
I see God as so big and so loving that there are many roads to Him or Her. Studies going on now, and since before Vatican II show there are more points of agreement than points of differences between the Catholic and other Christian churches.

Though the Catholic Church is the sole repository of the fullness of Christian truth, given to it by its founder, Jesus Christ, all those who accept Jesus as Savior and sincerely try to follow him are Christian, even though their doctrinal beliefs may be incomplete or partially untrue. They all possess a measure of Christian truth, which they received from the Holy Catholic Church, either directly or through its Holy Book. Any church which did not hold any Catholic beliefs could not possibly be considered Christian.

True Christians don't follow religion at all, we follow Christ. He is the way, the truth and the life, not the Catholic cult that is packed with pagan ritual and founded by a pagan emperor. Salvation comes from Christ, not from religion. Mary cannot save you, the apostles cannot intercede for you, and all the candles and statues in the world cannot hear you.
