Heat will not make your hair grow faster or healthier, infact it will damage it and give you split ends. Trimming it does help. Don't trim everyday because you won't give your hair time to grow. Hair grows fast but not that fast. Split ends will eventually split the hair all the way to the scalp and cause your hair to be dry and frizzy. Old ends will stop the growth completely or make it very slow. Trimming gets rid of both and makes it healthier, longer, and grow faster. The rumor is that you should trim once a month, the trueth is, it depends on how fast your hair gets bad. Some can wait for two or three moths before they get splits ends or their hair growth slows down. I hope I helped you.

Hairdressers and barbers generally reckon that cutting or shaving hair does not speed up its growth but that hair does grow slightly faster in the summer. They should know.

Hair is dead tissue..I cannot see how any hair treatment will make it grow faster. If there is any that works it may be a stimulation of the follicles.

No, heat doesn't make your hair grow faster....it can make it healthier though.
