I WAS WAITING AT A BUSY BUS STOP. SUDDENLY, THIS GUY IN A RED TRUCK STOPS, AND STARTS STARING AT ME. I LOOK AT HIM, TO MAKE HIM STOP, BUT HE JUST KEEPS ON STARING UNTIL THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN. MEANWHILE, IN THE FARTHEST LANE, A MAN IS, AT THE SAME TIME AS THE OTHER ONE, STARING RIGHT AT ME. HE STARTS BEEP-BEEPING ON HIS CAR.

IT JUST MADE ME SO MAD, LIKE I CAN BE HONKED AT LIKE SOME USELESS "THING". I JUST FELT LIKE CRYING. AND BY THE WAY, I'M 15 YEARS OLD, AND THE GUY WAS LIKE 50. WHY WOULD HE THINK THAT HE COULD HAVE A CHANCE WITH ME. IS THIS HOW MEN ARE SUPPOSED TO BEHAVE? WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE IN THE SAME SITUATION? i REALLY WANTED TO SHOW HIM A FINGER....

CREEPY! Some men act this way, but we try to stay away from them...and guys that respect women don't do this either. Try to have a friend with you if you're going to be sitting at a bus stop the next time. I'm 22 and I refuse to sit on the side of the road by myself...its just not the smartest thing to do. For any age its just not the smart thing to do. And if someone does stare at you a lot, give them the "What the hell are you looking at?!?!?" face and hand gesture. A finger might be appropriate too, by the way....

You should have showed him the finger!!!! Sweetie, you will get this all the time during your life. The older you get the more of this you will see. No, it's not right that these older men are looking at you this way when it feels very uncomfortable, but sadly this will happen. I know it's easier said than done when someone tells you to just ignore this, but sometimes that's what you have to do. As long as anyone isn't touching on you or doing something to truly disrespect you then ignore these pigs!!!! By the way maybe the next time this happens you need to give them the finger like you wanted to do. That would give them something to think about. Take care!!!

I totally understand how you felt. Ive been in a similar situation and it feels cheap and degrading. No, in no way at all is that how men are supposed to act. Its just that some men are immature, sick and twisted. These were probably just two horny sick old bastards. I dont honestly know what possess some men to behave like such animals, but some do. But dont worry, though, there really are some good men out there, you just have to find them-but at 15 you have PLENTY of time for that. I think you handled it perfectly, just dont let it phase you, those morons arent woth a second thought. Good for you for being a strong woman.

You were perfectly right in doing nothing. Sure you felt creeped out but there's no need to draw extra attention to yourself. Just ignore it in the future, as mad as it makes you. And remember - it's them being creepy and has nothing at all to do with you. If it's the same guy every time, have someone come with you to the bus stop or go to the police and your parents because he may be a sex offender.

I'm 15 and hear ya! I get honked at or whistled at all the time. I just go on and ignore the fact that old guys can be so gross and sense less. I even get upset if it is a young guy. I dont care who you are or what ya are there is no need to honk or whistle at GIRLS. The best thing you can do is dress appropriate and ignore them!

I CANT STANDDDDDDDD OLD PERVERTS!! That is exactly what they are. Nasty old men!! Ok, now.....make sure that you are not dressing skimpy to attract this type of person. I understand that it is not your fault. But, you have to understand that there are sickos out there and you don't want to draw the wrong crowd. Make sure you have a cell phone on you at all times if possible . If you don't have one..get one..that way if something creepy happens then you can call for help or at least let a friend or relative know your location.

Don't worry over it. Of course your going to get a little upset over it, but try to remember... not everyone is as great as we would like them to be. There are people out there who are just down right rude. Maybe your just a really pretty girl, but that still doesnt give them the right to make you feel this way. Just remember to be safe the next time it happens and not to talkt o someone who makes your feel that way.... they're probably looking for trouble; Cheer up.

I personally would have just flipped him off as he was driving away, because he was probably still looking at you through the mirror...

I can't think of anything else you could have done in that situation, except ignore it and get on with life...

(old perverted people like that creep me out!)

Giving the finger may have set him off in a rage and you may have been hurt. Simply ignore them. And no, not all men are like that. Those type of men give the rest of us a bad image!

I feel ya. I'm fourten and some guy in his late thirties came up to me and said "How ya doin' with ya freaky little self?" It's good that you didn't do anything. Ignoring his probably the best you can do. Giving the finger will just give him nasty ideas... if you know what I mean.
