i am writing a book, and i have to describe whts the pain like of cutting off one of ur fingers.. pls help!

I have never had a finger cut off but I could ask my brother cause he had his thumb cut off in a construction accident. It got caught in the tailgate of a dump truck. I would imagine that if it's cut off with any kind of blade, it would be extremely painful. If you have ever had a good knife cut, you know it's extremely painful. I had five stitches from a knife cut in my hand, fell onto a knife, and all I can really remember is how badly it burned.

get in touch with someone who's been in the Japanese mafia.. when they fail a mission, they'd have to cut a finger off to show they were sorry..
