Yes, my cat does the same thing. I have been training him to type but so far all he manages to put in here is lsiepo dkopsspp. His other favorite thing is to jump up on the keyboard and open one program 86 times. He is like a virus, only cute and forgivable.
I do have my thoughts though. When he is typing kdisoi diflwk, I am wondering if it is a secret code to other cats. Could be they are working out how they can open their own cans of food. This way they can do away with us and take over the world FINALLY. We all know that is what they have been working towards. Keep an eye on what your cat types....and hide the can opener.

I put that cat licking the screen thing on once & she went nuts. When I left that webpage she jumped down & went behind the desk to look for the other cat. I'm bored, think I'll do it again just for a goof!

Your cats probably going after the arrow on the computer. My cat loves going after it and paws at the screen. If you go to www.whiskas.ca , click on kitten and theres a mouse toy your cat can play with right on your computer screen. My kitten loves it!

Maybe he just doesn't trust it. Or maybe his eyes refresh at a different speed than human eyes, so he sees the screen flickering while you don't. Does he still go crazy if the monitor is turned off?

my cat does the same thing. she likes to bat at objects on the screen as if she can get them. it's pretty comical. sometimes she'll walk across the keyboard and i end up on some site i didn't plan on. it's entertaining not only for your cat but for you.
