It's not that simple....

Depending on your age, build type and frame size you may or may not be overweight. Picking a number is not the best way to go. Losing until you feel good and exercising to tone up are the way to go.

If you feel you're overweight talk to your doctor first and then embark on a weight loss program, knowing that you must be happy with what you're eating because it's for life. Once you've lost your weight you can't go back to what you were eating or you'll become just another yo-yo dieter, which is even more dangerous than being a few pounds overweight.

I've lost weight following low fat, Weight Watchers and now low-carb. I was successful at losing on all three but was never able to maintain my losses with anything EXCEPT Atkins. I lost 70 lbs. and have kept it off for almost two years now. I've also never been healthier or had more energy plus I eat better than I've even eaten in my life. There's no fake food and it's all very satisfying.

Just wanting to lose a few extra pounds, you should like walk 2 miles a day. But, look on height/weight scales to see if you really are over weight.

i do not think so, but you are the oe who knows how much mussle and how much fat you have (fat weights less than muscle). If you wanna lose some weight, go to the gym and try not to indulge on foods. As we say in "weight watchers": "you can eat any food, but you cannot eat it all"

Thick maybe, depends on your shape and bone structure. My wifey is 5'4" and 107lbs she's athletic/slim wears a size 0 or 1. she runs everyday and does ATLEAST 500 crunches a day. start with walking to get your metabolism up. avoid weight training cuz that's gonna just add weight to you and cause you to look bigger cuz the muscle will build up below the fat first.

No, you are not fat. Just walk everyday. About 2 miles, at a pretty fast pace.
