About to buy a television on the internet but need to know what recertified means?

Means somebody bought it, sent it back for some reason, the company fixed it and recertified it for sale. Stuff has to be certified by the company before they sell it the first time, hence the term RE certified.

Recertification means it was returned by a previous customer with NOTHING wrong with it.
Reconditioned means it was returned and needed repair before being resold.
Either way, the warranties are almost always a FULL warranty, as if the product was brand-new, so you can get great deals this way... But check to make sure you're satisfied with the length & strength of the warranty first before buying.

the tv was returned for repair, sometimes theres nothng wrong with them anyway, called b grade in the trade to, i have had one for 6 years and still going great, it may even be just a mark on cabinet etc
