Hi. Actually there are hazards. The end product, aluminum oxide, is a harsh abrasive and is not easy to dispose of whereas the H/O fuel cell produces only water.

It takes a lot of energy to extract and purify aluminium, which makes it quite expensive.
Hydrogen does not produce waste and does not pollute. It is the most abundant element.

because hydrogen is generated from water, which is very abundant..

there is enough energy in hyrodgen in water, that a car can travel about 50 miles on about 4 ounces of water, and emit no known pollutants..
