Your honest opinion on a man with long hair. We're talking, well maintained long hair, about 2 1/2 feet long and naturally curly, looks like a spiral perm. I use only Paul Mitchel products, wash and condition it everyday, style it with sculpting foam. No split ends and it is soft and shiney. I'm not trying to look like a rockstar, I just like my hair long. I don't do drugs, drink or even smoke cigarettes or anything else. It seems the ladies that like long hair like it a lot and the ones that don't hate it. What do you think and why?

You're right, you either love it or hate it! Personally, while I like some hair, long like the way you describe is too much for me. Maybe it's how I've been conditioned to think, but long hair on a man is too feminine looking for me. Also, l tend to associate long hair on a man with a certain type of heavy metal music, which I am not a fan of. Either that, or he's into bikes and leather lol. But thinking about it, the biggest reason it would put me off is that I like to be the one with the long flowing hair, not my man! Oh, and I agree with the 80's comments, that look is a bit outdated. Having said all that, it's only my opinion and you should do what makes you feel good! :-)

I,m not partial to it myself. Fabio looks pathetic. Tarzan looks unkept. I have very long hair as with keeping with my culture. No, I don't hide it under a hat or anything. I just think that long hair on guys is passe. Oh, by the way, Native Americans look so da*m good with long hair but 21/2 ft is really way too much; even for them/us.

I love long hair on guys,,, but i think that 2 1/2 of hair is too much. passed the shoulders is great if like you said is kept clean and maintained

Honest opinion: I detest long hair on men. I think it directly relates to the type of personality to which I am attracted. Quite simply, the type of men I'm attracted to would not make it in their respective careers with long hair.

I love long haired guys if their hair looks healty& good and i understand that u care ur hair perfectly so dont think to cut them, if u happy with ur long hair...It's ur life and live the way u want. Also if a girl loves you, should love just who u r.

I love LH on guys...as long as they wear it well and its a part of who they are. I do not like long hair that's straggly and unkept, as if the fellow is a bum or lets himself go. I also think models w. long hair, (esp. straight) and a beautiful face are stunning, sexy and intelligent. Native American long hair is gorgeous too. One of the best things about LH on males is that not just any can wear it and be it.

No offense, but it's not very attractive to me. But maybe if I got to know the person I wouldn't mind. But if you're talking just look at first sight, I don't think curly would be that bad. It's just the dirty looking straight long kind that's kind of gross.

I like men with well kept long hair. My boyfriend has a ponytail that touches his shoulders, but the underside is shaved to a 1" guard. It looks nice. Personal preference is that I don't like men with long curly hair, but it does look best if it is well kept.

when I met my guy, he change into the classic lengthy haired rocker. He had quite lengthy eye-catching vivid brown hair (i change into soooo jealous, it change into waaaaay nicer than mine)surely dazzling! i love a manly guy, and they don't come a lot more beneficial manly than that! even if, he now has short hair and garments somewhat more beneficial prominent (no longer neddy) yet i nonetheless imagine he's alluring! yet besides, judging on seems in worry-free words, the lengthy haired rocker does it for me any day!
