Though there are more things such as Raisins, sultanas. grapes.
Chocolate: baking chocolate is the worst, needing only 0.1 ounce per pound of body weight to kill a dog. Cocoa and milk chocolate should also be avoided. White chocolate is the least toxic, requiring 200 ounces per pound of body weight to cause death.
Bones: Most types of bones will splinter, and these splinters may become lodged in the dog's throat. The best bone for a dog is the beef shin bone. Avoid chicken and pork bones.
Cassava root
Rhubarb
Onions: especially in large quantities. Onions are even more dangerous to cats.
Other things that might make an appearance in you kitchen that your dog shouldn't eat are:
Apple Seeds
Apricot Pits
Peach Pits
Pear Seeds
Avocado Leaves
Eggplant leaves
All parts tomato plant except the fruit
Uncooked Java beans
Acorns
I hope I don't have to tell you this, but:
Aluminum Foil can cut a dog's intestines, causing internal bleeding.
Plastic food wrap can cause choking or intestinal obstruction.
Tobacco, Marijuana, and Aspirin are also bad for your dog.
Alcohol isn't poisonous, but dogs will get drunk much more quickly than a human.
Caffeine: I haven't had much luck trying to find out how poisonous caffeine is to dogs, but I wouldn't advise giving them tea, coffee, jolt, etc.
Rich, fatty foods can cause pancreatitis.
Dogs are lactose intolerant. Dairy products can cause excessive gas and diarrhea.
Rawhides, cow hooves, and pigs' ears are hard to digest, and may cause vomiting or diarrhea if eaten too quickly. Cow hooves are hard enough that they can break a dog's tooth, and sharp splinters can become lodged in the intestinal tract.
Finally, watch out for Bloat (gastric dilatation and volvulus syndrome or GDV), a condition that comes from eating too much too fast, especially in times of stress or just after exercise. Changes in diet and gas producing foods may also contribute to this condition. Most often occurring in large dogs, the symptoms are; a distended abdomen, abdominal discomfort, severe weakness and shock. This condition can be life threatening, and needs to be treated by a veterinarian as quickly as possible.

Large breed of dogs have a shorter intestinal tract than smaller breeds, bland foods such as bakers etc can be used, still undecided about specialist foods made for certain breeds as these are very expensive, "add ins" now and again are always helpful for their coats and joints such as tuna in oil (not brine) an egg.
We have 2 GSD's they get an "add in" once a week to 10 days, and both the Vet and Cats and Dogs home visitor say both are in brilliant condition and a very good temperament"

Never give a dog chocolate, it can poison them. They can generally eat most things, although they may get diarrhoea/vomiting if not fed on a nutritionally balanced dog food, but something relatively cheap like chappie is ideal!

i will try my best i have been a breeder for many years now so here goes ,
milk , most dogs are lactose intolerant
chocolate , this will ruin the dogs teeth as well as inter fear with its digestive system
liver most people will see this in there dog food and think it is OK it is but in dog food you only get about 2%out of a bag weighing 15kg that's fine but to feed it like the way we eat it can be serious to the dog
that's basically it , oh yes and this is a must don't feed it pedigree chum the water content is 57 % the poor dog will be starving as soon as he/she as eaten it , imagine us eating our sunday roast with just veg 1hour later we would be starving , basically your dog can eat anything you eat in moderation if its bad for you it will be bad for your dog ,hope i have helped , "B"

chocolate, and grapes...for dog foods anything that you buy at a gorcery store is usually bad for dogs because they put bad products in them for example if the ingredients say chicken digest that means that there is chicken poop in the food! pretty gross i know!
